The Harbor Freight Tools for Schools Prize for Teaching Excellence awards $1.5 million to 25 outstanding skilled trades teachers and their programs in U.S. public high schools.
There will be five grand prize winners of $100,000 each, and 20 prize winners of $50,000.
Judges are looking for strong evidence of past teaching success and future innovation, thoughtful and in-depth application, positive data and results, inspirational storytelling, active engagement with learning modules and passion, creativity and leadership.
