The 2021-2022 list of industry-recognized credentials has been posted to the Ohio Department of Education’s website. As articulated in Each Child, Our Future, the state’s five-year strategic plan for education, Ohio is prioritizing opportunities for students to earn industry-recognized credentials that are sure to fuel their success after high school.
To ensure Ohio maintains a relevant list of industry-recognized credentials, Superintendent Paolo DeMaria, in close collaboration with the Governor’s Office of Workforce Transformation, convenes an array of appropriate industry professionals to carefully and thoughtfully review all new industry-recognized credentials. These committees recommend which credentials be added to the state’s recognized list.
