A-Tech dedicates complex to former superintendent Brockway

The Ashtabula County Technical and Career Center Board of Education officially dedicated the A Complex as the “Dr. Jerome R. Brockway Administrative Complex” at their November meeting. Brockway, who served as superintendent at A-Tech from 1989 to 2020, also served as superintendent of the Ashtabula County Board of Education from 1986-89. He combined these positions in 1989 and led both organizations for 12 years. Throughout the course of his 53-year career, he held many positions at different levels of education.

He retired on July 1, and Scott Wludyga, who was serving as the Secondary Supervisor at A-Tech, took over on Aug. 1. The appointment was finalized May 22.
